More than 9 million uninsured Latinos have secured health insurance today, thanks to opportunities created by the Affordable Care Act, the Inflation Reduction Act, and other recent federal policies.
In a letter to Commissioner Califf, we urge the FDA to prioritize the development of a mandatory front-of-package nutrition labeling system that would help address health inequities facing Latinos and empower consumers to to make better informed dietary choices.
