Since 1982, UnidosUS has benefited from the expertise of its Corporate Board of Advisors (CBA) in an effort to advance the interests of Hispanic Americans. This impressive group of senior executives and liaisons from key Fortune 100 corporations meets twice a year to receive updates on UnidosUS activities, dialogue about current matters, and provide advice and support on issues and programs of concern. Through ongoing communication with the CBA, UnidosUS strengthens each CBA member’s capacity to attract and serve the Hispanic population.

The UnidosUS Annual Conference is the organization’s hallmark event, representing one of the largest gatherings of influential people, policymakers, organizations, institutions, and companies that support Latinos. The UnidosUS Annual Conference provides a forum for more than 3,000 people in the business of social change to learn about ongoing and emerging issues in the Hispanic community, connect with key community leaders, and generate partnerships with Hispanic community-based organizations.
The UnidosUS Annual Conference also offers audiences across sectors leadership and learning opportunities focused on the Latinx lens of diversity, equity, and inclusion, via its LatinX IncluXion track. This track is designed to empower individuals committed to the highest standards of DEI in the workplace, in our community and beyond, and it’s a fantastic opportunity to hear from DEI experts addressing challenges and opportunities, highlighting effective practices and sharing new data and emerging trends.
The UnidosUS Changemakers Summit (formerly the Leaders in Action Summit) convenes people from across the country to Washington, DC, for training, networking, and strategizing that turns aspiring advocates to practiced organizers. Attendees receive updates about legislation on issues that matter to them most, then visit Capitol Hill to put their training into action with face-to-face meetings with members of Congress. The Summit is held in conjunction with the Capital Awards and brings approximately 200 community leaders from 150 community-based organizations across the country to Washington, DC.
The UnidosUS Capital Awards Gala concludes the Changemakers Summit. A nonpartisan event, the Capital Awards Gala has been the premier annual event in Washington, DC, that recognizes elected and appointed officials from both sides of the aisle for their outstanding support of public policies that are vital to Hispanic Americans. In addition, UnidosUS honors champions of the Hispanic community from outside of the political spectrum who courageously advocate on behalf of the Latino community with the UnidosUS Capital Award for Public Service.
