Growing up bilingual: How can we help babies learning two languages?

Virtual Webinar

This event has already taken place. | Wednesday, April 27th, 2022 | Online

Many infants and children around the world grow up exposed to two or more languages. Their success in learning each of their languages is a direct consequence of the quantity and quality of their everyday language experience, including at home, in day care and preschools, and in the broader community context.

This webinar will discuss scientific findings in bilingual language acquisition research. The presentation will share the important role of caregivers, as well as the socio-cultural environment in helping bilingual infants get set up for a lifetime of learning.

Learn how parents, grandparents, teachers, and other adults can support positive language outcomes in bilingual children to maximally benefit from their unique language environments.

The webinar will be presented in English and Spanish. Este seminario estará disponible en inglés y en español.
