The UnidosUS Changemakers Summit | The Power of US brings together hundreds of aspiring and veteran advocates from our Affiliates to the nation’s capital.
We provide a unique and welcoming space in which attendees can learn from UnidosUS policy leaders, collaborate with peers, and build their personal and professional relationships.
Participants will:

Attend the 2023 UnidosUS Capital Awards, the premier Latino event in Washington, DC, that recognizes leaders who have championed policies and legislation to empower and strengthen our community.

The 2023 Changemakers Summit will take place at the Hilton Washington DC Capitol Hill, conveniently located within walking distance of the U.S. Capitol, the National Building Museum, and the National Mall. The hotel is also located two blocks from Union Station and Judiciary Square Metro stations.

Exclusive UnidosUS Changemakers Summit Rate:
- $205.00 Single/Double + $30.64 (14.95% occupancy tax rate) = $235.64 per night.
- Rates are based on single/double occupancy. Each additional adult is $20 extra added to the base price, plus tax. Maximum occupancy in one room is four people.
Note: All reservations will be charged a one-night, non-refundable deposit per room at the time of booking, with no exceptions.
Reservations: The exclusive Summit rate is provided once you complete and pay for a full Summit registration via your confirmation email. You may reserve up to five hotel rooms per online transaction. Reservations of more than five rooms will be considered a sub-block. If you are interested in reserving a sub-block for your group, please contact Kristina Villavicencio at [email protected]. All sub-blocks must be requested and approved before they can be reserved.
Deadline: The reservation deadline has passed and the group rate is no longer available.
Cancellation: To avoid additional cancellation charges, individual reservations must be canceled three days prior to the arrival date.

CANCELATION AND REFUND POLICY: Cancelations will be accepted in writing to [email protected] until Friday, February 3, 2023. After Friday, February 3, registrations are nonrefundable.
LIABILITY: UnidosUS and its staff, Board, and sponsors claim no liability for the acts of any suppliers relative to this Summit or for the safety of any attendee during and/or while in transit to or from this event. The planners and sponsors reserve the right to cancel this function without liability. UnidosUS reserves the right of admittance and the right to exclude from the Summit or refuse service to any attendee at the sole discretion of UnidosUS. Furthermore, UnidosUS is under no obligation to provide an explanation for its actions but may do so at its own discretion.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY: As an UnidosUS Changemakers Summit attendee, the registrant hereby grants to UnidosUS the right and permission to use, publish, and republish photographs, video, audio, or images in which the registrant may be included, in whole, part, or composite in any printed or electronic matter or media for any legal purpose, and to use the registrant’s name in conjunction if UnidosUS so chooses. This authorization and release shall also be binding upon the registrant’s heirs, next of kin, and personal representatives. The registrant has read this release and fully understands its contents. The registrant hereby releases and discharges UnidosUS from all claims and liabilities arising out of or about the use of photographs, images, or information.
DEMOGRAPHIC AND PRIVACY POLICY: UnidosUS may use demographic information from registrants for marketing related to UnidosUS programs, activities, and events. UnidosUS may also share the registrant contact information with approved UnidosUS partners. Payment information is not shared and is kept strictly confidential. If a registrant does not wish to have their information shared with UnidosUS approved partners, the registrant must send an email request to [email protected] stating that the registrant prefers not to have their information shared with UnidosUS’s partners.
MEALS: A limited number of vegan meals are available as the alternative to accommodate dietary restrictions during meal events, including gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian. The vegan meals are available upon request to the banquet server on a first come, first served basis.
