In response to a Request for Information from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regarding fees imposed by providers of consumer financial products or services (or junk fees), UnidosUS submitted a letter which highlights fees that are commonly imposed across a range of financial products and transactions, focusing on fees associated with deposit accounts, credit cards, and small-dollar loans, which are areas of particular concern for low-income people and Latinos.
