UnidosUS submitted this comment to the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare regarding the Updating Payment Parameters, Section 1332 Waiver Implementing Regulations, and Improving Health Insurance Markets for 2022 and Beyond Proposed Rule (RIN 0938–AU60; CMS-9906-P).
UnidosUS supports the rules expansion and improvement of opportunities to enroll in coverage through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplaces. This includes an extended open enrollment period and a new monthly special enrollment period for families with low-income. UnidosUS’ also supports the rule’s restoration of Navigators roles related to post-enrollment assistance and increase in revenue that supports marketing, outreach, and Navigator grants.
