Dear Friends,
Thanks to your support, UnidosUS made remarkable strides in 2024. Together, we proved that our collective power expands opportunities, fosters wealth, improves health and contributes to stronger communities across America.
We secured millions of dollars to fund initiatives that will expand economic and health prospects for Latino families and their communities. This includes new affordable housing opportunities in Nevada and expanding access to health coverage for DACA recipients. We also invested in strengthening our network of over 300 hundred Affiliates, boosting their efforts to create opportunities for all.
Our work and what we were able to accomplish are deeply rooted in the values that define us: Familia/Family. Trabajo/Work. Esperanza/Hope. Oportunidad/Opportunity. These principles guide our mission and resonate across our country. But let’s be clear: this vision is under threat in the U.S. The current climate is one of uncertainty, division and fear. Yet, because of your support, UnidosUS can advance its vision of unity and opportunity for all.
At the core of our efforts are demographic facts that underscore the role of Latinos in our nation’s future. Eight out of ten of Latinos are American citizens. One out of every four children in this country is Hispanic. By the year 2030, we will represent one in three new people entering the workforce. This translates into $3.6 trillion dollars in spending power – larger than the GDP of all but six countries.
Despite today’s challenges, I remain hopeful because of the unwavering spirit and strength of our community and the support of so many individuals, organizations, and companies who believe in extending opportunity to all. With your continued support, we will fight for the values that unite us and secure the promise of a brighter future for everyone.
As you’ll see in the impact data that follow, the seeds we planted since our founding in 1968 have flourished. Even in challenging times, with partners like you, we will continue to nurture pathways to opportunity that build wealth and foster health for everyone.

Our Impact
Growing Wealth
For over 25 years, UnidosUS has been planting seeds and creating pathways to homeownership, helping Latino wealth take root. In 2024 with the combination of our advocacy, Affiliate voices, program expertise, national influence and strategic communications resulted in 20 acres of public land in Nevada being designated for affordable housing by the Biden-Harris Administration.
Fostering Health
For decades UnidosUS has been cultivating healthier futures, helping Hispanic communities grow and thrive. In 2024, wins for the Latino community included: California’s first law requiring folic acid in corn masa products, a staple in many Latino households. Folic acid can reduce neural tube defects by 70%. 100,000+ DACA recipients nationwide gained access to health coverage through the ACA, ensuring health equity takes deeper root.
Changing Systems
Like a tree growing strong, our work in 2024 extended its roots, branches and leaves to nurture opportunities by shifting resources to our communities — thereby changing systems to create a brighter future for Latino families with: Over $3.7 million from HUD’s Office of Housing Counseling to offer concrete steps towards homeownership. $4 million from the U.S. Department of Labor through the Apprenticeship Building America grant program which will provide skills training and pathways to careers.
Empowering Latino Voters
More than 17M Hispanics voted in 2024, demonstrating the continued influence of Latino voters in shaping national elections. 126,796 eligible voters registered through digital and canvassing efforts in states including AZ, CA, FL, NV, NY, PA and TX. Visit our Latino Electorate Data Hub.
