Latino Income and Poverty in 2017 A Snapshot of the Census Current Population Survey

Survey

On September 12, 2018, the U.S. Census Bureau released new data measuring poverty and income in the United States during 2017, the first year of the Trump administration. The data shows that national poverty rates decreased slightly from 2016, while household income increased. While Latinos saw progress, several long-standing inequities remain.
