UnidosUS Roundtable to Explore the Impact of the New Tax Law on the Latino Community

Washington, DC—UnidosUS (formerly NCLR) will host a forum this Friday, April 13, to address the impact the Tax and Jobs Cut Act (TJCA) and current budget debate will have on Pennsylvania’s Latino community. The event will bring together local Latino leaders and experts with UnidosUS’s Policy and Advocacy team to examine how new federal policies stand to impact hardworking Latinos in the state as well as recently arrived Puerto Rican migrants. Community leaders will speak to the local impact from proposed budget cuts.

During the roundtable, UnidosUS policy experts will also release findings from a new state fact sheet previewing the economic impact the new tax law will have on Pennsylvania’s working families.

Interested media should RSVP to Gabriela Gomez at [email protected] or (202) 776-1732.
