On October 29, UnidosUS hosted a virtual town hall, “ADELANTE to the Polls,” just four days before the presidential election to encourage early voters and Election Day voters to finalize their voting plan and follow through with it, as well as to share an overview of what to expect once the polls close. Resources on where to obtain information or talk to a person live if you have any questions were also shared.
With early voting well underway across the United States, early turnout for the 2020 elections has already surpassed total early turnout for 2016, with battleground states in particular shattering previous turnout records.
This year is a critical election for our community, and Latinos are poised to make a difference in battleground districts across the country.
