Latino Jobs Report Latino Unemployment Sees Slight Increase

In July, the U.S. economy added 215,000 jobs while the national unemployment rate remained unchanged at 5.3%, lower than the 235,000 average monthly gain for the previous three months. The unemployment rate for Latinos increased to 6.8% in July from 6.6% in June as more Latinos searched for work but fewer found jobs. The Latino unemployment rate remains stubbornly higher than the national unemployment rate.
