Letter to President Biden: Propose a Budget that Builds on Your Domestic Achievements by Advancing Equity for Latinos
This letter signed by Acting President and Chief Operating Officer, Sonia Pérez, urges President Biden to propose a FY2024 budget that builds on his domestic achievements, reduces racial and ethnic disparities, and advances equity for Latinos.
The letter requests specific priorities to be included in his annual budget that would support the economic empowerment and housing needs of Latinos; expand access to health coverage, immunizations, and nutrition initiatives; strengthen the educational pipeline for Latino students; safeguard and facilitate the full integration of our immigrant community; and protect our hard-earned civil rights.
