Lessons Learned from Fuente Credito: Using Fintech to Expand Immigrant Access to Small Dollar Consumer Loans
Fuente Credito was one of the programs that UnidosUS developed to address the lack of financial inclusion—a pillar of immigrant integration—in the Latinx immigrant community.
The online platform, with the support of UnidosUS Affiliates and in partnership with LogicFI, served as a nexus between the supply and demand for affordable small dollar credit. This report highlights the lessons learned from this pilot program and provides recommendations to make affordable small dollar loans more accessible to the community.
