Florida Should Use a Special Session to Accept Federal Dollars to Feed Hungry Children This Summer

Fact Sheet

Hunger doesn’t take a summer break. Nearly 800,000 Florida children face food insecurity during the summer, including 243,000 Latino kids. We urge state leaders to accept $259M in federal funds through the Summer EBT program to ensure families can access the groceries they need. Together, we can make a difference.
