ConectAquí: Closing the Digital Divide for Latinos
ConectAquí tackles the digital divide impacting Latino communities by connecting eligible households to affordable internet.
Funded by the Affordable Connectivity Outreach Grant Program, UnidosUS partnered with four California-based organizations to provide 11,305 individuals with critical information on affordable broadband access, enrolling 120 people and generating $3,600 in monthly savings. Although the program ended early due to funding shortages, ConectAquí highlighted the ongoing need for accessible internet among low-income Latino households. This project underscores UnidosUS’s commitment to bridging the connectivity gap for Latino families.
