UnidosUS and 123 organizations have requested the inclusion of $1 billion for the English Language Acquisition grant program, authorized by Title III of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act in fiscal year 2027. Title III provides English learners with the resources they need to learn English and meet the same challenging academic standards as their peers. A $1 billion investment will enable English-learning students to access high-quality education, regardless of the language they speak at home.
