2009 NCLR Annual Report A New Era of Responsibility
For more than four decades, NCLR has aimed to better our nation by empowering Latinos at both the local and national levels. In 2009, NCLR continued to fulfill this mission through its key role in the national civil rights and immigration debates and by promoting educational excellence, economic equality, civic engagement, and social well-being for Latinos throughout the United States. The 2009 Annual Report, A New Era of Responsibility, sheds light on how the Hispanic community is faring and presents some of NCLR’s leading policies and programs creating vital change.
