The Child Tax Credit (CTC) is one of our nation’s most powerful poverty-reducing tools. Deployed effectively, it has the potential to reduce Hispanic poverty by more than one-third and reduce racial inequities.
This issue brief gives an overview of the CTC’s impact on Latino children and identifies outstanding implementation gaps which policymakers must address to equitably reduce child poverty.
