This statement for the record was submitted as a part of the June 15, 2021 hearing by the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary, titled “H.R.6, American Dream and Promise Act of 2021.”

The statement asserts that a pathway to citizenship for all DREAMers and TPS holders is an integral part of a comprehensive pandemic recovery plan. As documented in this statement, these individuals, a significant number of whom are Latino, are inherent to our country’s social fabric and have made critical contributions to our economy, particularly throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. UnidosUS urges action to support these communities by the passage of H.R.6, the American Dream and Promise Act of 2021.
