Congressional Leaders to Join UnidosUS Virtual Town Hall to Discuss Need for Latino Inclusion in Biden’s 100-Day Agenda

WASHINGTON, DC—UnidosUS, the nation’s largest Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization, is hosting a virtual town hall on Tuesday, February 9, at 6 p.m. ET titled “The Latino Agenda for Biden’s First 100 Days.”

The town hall will look at where Latinos fit in President Biden’s 100-day agenda and what the new administration is doing to maximize pandemic relief efforts and repair the damage done to Latinos by the previous administration. As COVID-19 continues to threaten Latinos’ health and financial outlooks, it is critical the Biden administration create policies that ensure the Latino community is included in the full recovery of the country.

UnidosUS President and CEO Janet Murguía will be joined at the town hall by Rep. Veronica Escobar of Texas’s 16th District and Rep. Raul Ruiz of California’s 36th District. MSNBC Anchor Alicia Menendez will moderate the event.
