Eric Holguín
As Texas state director for UnidosUS, Eric advocates for equity and opportunity for Latino communities across the state.
A proud native of Rio Grande Valley, Eric is a graduate of Texas A&M–Corpus Christi. He began his career in New York City working for a U.S. Congresswoman and the NYC Comptroller, before returning to South Texas in 2017 to serve his community and help shape state politics.
In 2019, Eric successfully helped pass legislation supporting veterans in the Texas Legislature. He led a local LULAC chapter, successfully fought state legislation that sought to erase civil rights icons from textbooks, and was instrumental in helping pass the PACT Act — the largest expansion of veteran’s health care in 45 years — earning an invitation to the White House from President Biden for the bill signing.
Eric has advised presidential campaigns on Latino issues, served as a delegate to the 2024 Democratic National Convention and earned his Master of Public Affairs from the LBJ School at UT–Austin.
