The Financial Empowerment Program Specialist is responsible for implementing one of the key programs within the UnidosUS Housing and Financial Empowerment component. The Financial Empowerment Network (FEN) is an initiative that mobilizes UnidosUS Affiliates that are service providers in their communities to become channels through which low- and moderate-income Latinos can access culturally relevant and linguistically appropriate financial coaching services. Director of Financial Reporting and Analysis

UnidosUS is seeking a Director of Financial Reporting and Analysis for its national headquarters in Washington, DC office. This position is exempt and will reside in the Office of Finance. The Director reports to the CFO and will be a key leader in the senior finance team. The Director will oversee all aspects of federal and nonfederal grant compliance, ensure that timely monthly financial reports are submitted by UnidosUS, run employee benefit accounting and auditing, partner to lead the preparations for the UnidosUS financial annual audits, and provide excellent financial reporting and analysis for UnidosUS as well as related entities. Senior Director of Legislative and Congressional Affairs

UnidosUS is seeking a Senior Director of Legislative and Congressional Affairs in its Washington, DC office. The Legislative and Congressional Affairs department works to build and nurture relationships with Congress, the federal government, and state leaders to provide relevant and timely information about public policy issues that matter to the Latino community, and lobby on behalf of UnidosUS’s policy priorities. UnidosUS works with a variety of coalition partners to achieve its major policy and legislative goals in key areas such as civil rights, education, housing, jobs, immigration, and health care. The Senior Director will develop strategy and execute tactics to advance legislation on Capitol Hill and support legislative work in statehouses with the aim of producing policy outcomes. Deputy Vice President (DVP), Unidos Properties, LLC

UnidosUS is seeking a Deputy Vice President (DVP) to provide the primary day-to-day leadership for Unidos Properties, LLC. Unidos Properties, LLC is a newly formed, fully owned LLC of UnidosUS. The LLC manages the UnidosUS Headquarters office at 1126 16th Street NW, Washington, DC. UnidosUS occupies the building, as well as multiple other tenants (currently five others). The DVP leads a team responsible for the day-to-day facility operations and services, as well as all operations of the LLC. The DVP also oversees the Asset Manager and building management company for maintenance activities for the UnidosUS Headquarters. The position ensures assets are operated and maintained in a cost-effective manner while providing a safe, clean, and comfortable work environment.

The DVP develops plans, budgets, controls costs, coordinates service providers, staff activities, and is a change agent for the implementation and management of performance for the building. Education Policy Analyst

UnidosUS is seeking a Policy Analyst to join its Education Policy Project, which aims to increase the school readiness and achievement of Latino students through policy and program solutions. Housed in the highly respected policy analysis and civil engagement division, the Education Policy Project has a track record of influencing policy change, advancing work at all phases of the policy process including development, legislative debate, and regulatory action. As a leading advocate on education policy encompassing the perspectives of Latinos and English language learners, UnidosUS has led or worked in coalition with organizations on legislation such as the reauthorization of Head Start and the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), among others.

The Policy Analyst, Education Policy Project is responsible for engaging on issues related to the implementation of the Every Student Succeeds Act and issues related to postsecondary education, including the reauthorization of HEA, in the Policy and Advocacy component. The ideal candidate for this role will be a creative, critical thinker; have strong interpersonal skills; have solid writing and communications ability; and, share a deep commitment to advancing equity on behalf of vulnerable Latinos.

Director, Policy Analysis Center

The UnidosUS Policy and Advocacy team is seeking an experienced Director, Policy Analysis Center. The Director of the Policy Analysis Center is responsible for working in consultation with senior leadership in the Policy and Advocacy component to set overall strategic goals and objectives for UnidosUS policy analysis activities. This individual will work to build substantive depth in a range of policy issues including education and health; analyze new and emerging policy issues that affect the Latino community and think creatively in support of the development of policy recommendations and solutions. In addition, the Director will coordinate, develop, and participate in public policy forums, summits, briefings, and other events where relevant policy matters are discussed. This will include serving as a spokesperson on Latino policy priorities and representing UnidosUS priorities in internal and external meetings and before congressional staff, policymakers/experts, and issue stakeholders. He/she will also supervise staff and be expected to provide support to policy project directors and policy analysts.
