UnidosUS Welcomes Five New National Leaders to Board of Directors

WASHINGTON — UnidosUS, the nation’s largest Latino civil rights and advocacy organization, is proud to announce the addition of five distinguished leaders to its Board of Directors: 

  • Paloma Izquierdo-Hernández, President and CEO, Urban Health Plan 
  • Angélica Pérez-Delgado, President and CEO, Ibero-American Action League  
  • Maria del Socorro Pesqueira, President, Healthy Communities Foundation 
  • Catherine Pino, Co-CEO & Founder, D&P Creative Strategies 
  • Raúl F. Salinas, Partner-In-Charge (Los Angeles), FBT Gibbons 

These new members bring deep expertise in healthcare, philanthropy, law, public service, community development and business, strengthening the Board as UnidosUS advances its mission to build a stronger America by creating opportunities for Latinos.

Additionally, new appointments to the UnidosUS Board of Directors’ Executive Committee include:

  • John Esquivel, Treasurer 
  • January Contreras, At-Large Member 
  • Roy C. Lopez, At-Large Member 
  • Irma Morin, At-Large Member 

The announcement comes ahead of the 2026 UnidosUS Annual Conference, to be held July 29-30 in Austin, TX. The Conference is the largest gathering of Latino advocates, community and business leaders, young professionals, and allies from across the country.
