Latino Mayors Address COVID-19 at UnidosUS Virtual Town Hall
WASHINGTON, DC—To highlight the need for inclusive relief from the coronavirus health and economic crises in any future stimulus package, UnidosUS is hosting a virtual town hall with Mayor Regina Romero of Tucson, Ariz., and Mayor Eric Garcetti of Los Angeles. Both mayors have both been on the frontlines of the COVID-19 crisis and have witnessed firsthand how the Latino community has been disproportionately affected by the pandemic. Local leaders have played a key role in the coronavirus response in their communities, and at a time when the federal response has excluded many Latinos, their voices are needed as we look to Congress for relief that includes all families.
You are invited to the free virtual town hall on Tuesday, May 12, to bring the latest updates to the Latino community: “The Frontline Response: Local Latino Leaders Address COVID-19.”
