Victor L. Leandry, M.S.W.
Victor L. Leandry is Executive Director of El Centro de Servicios Sociales, Inc. in Lorain, Ohio, a bilingual and bicultural nonprofit serving the Hispanic/Latino community for over 50 years.
Originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico, Mr. Leandry earned his B.A. in Social Work from The Catholic University of Puerto Rico and his M.S.W. from Cleveland State University.
He has over three decades of experience providing direct mental health services to adults, children, couples and families. Active in community leadership, he serves on the Mercy Health Lorain Market Board, the Ohio Community Develpment Association, the Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Advocacy Coalition, and others. He has led initiatives including the Lorain County Census 2020 and Lorain County Civic Engagement Coalition.
Mr. Leandry is a former Midwest Affiliate Representative and Board Member for UnidosUS.
