Drew Furedi, Ed.D.

President and CEO, Para Los Niños

Dr. Drew Furedi is President and CEO of Para Los Niños, a nonprofit serving children and families across Los Angeles.

With over 20 years of experience in education and nonprofit leadership, Drew previously held leadership roles at the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and Loyola Marymount University’s Family of Schools. Earlier, he led recruitment efforts with The New Teacher Project and began his career as a Teach for America teacher in Baltimore.

Drew holds a B.A. from UCSB, and M.P.A. from USC and an Ed.D in Educational Leadership for Social Justice from Loyola Marymount University. He is a Pahara-Aspen Education Fellow and member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.

Under Drew’s leadership, Para Los Niños continues to advance equity and educational access, supporting youth and families with integrated services to thrive in school and life. Drew lives in Los Angeles with his wife and son, grounded in a commitment to community-driven impact.
