Public Comment on Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Naturalization Application Fee Adjustments
UnidosUS wrote this comment in response to the Trump administration’s proposal to increase application fees for U.S. citizenship and eliminate the reduced fee and fee waiver. We wrote to express our opposition to the proposed rule that would place United States citizenship further out of reach for many low-income lawful permanent residents who are otherwise eligible to naturalize and strongly urge that it be withdrawn.
