Navigating Neurodivergence in Latino Communities: Cultivando Mentes Brillantes
Latino students face a number of challenges in the U.S. education system. Through our partnership with Understood, our research underscored the urgent need for culturally affirming and multilingual family engagement programs that can build bridges between homes and schools. We created Cultivando Mentes Brillantes to address these needs, empowering families of students with learning and thinking differences (LTDs) to navigate neurodivergence in culturally responsive ways.
