Latinos and Higher Education Survey

Presentation

This survey explores the aspirations and challenges faced by Latino college students as they navigate higher education.

Latino students view college as a crucial step toward achieving well-paying jobs and creating a better future for their families. However, many face significant barriers, such as food insecurity, the need to work while studying and difficulties with the FAFSA process. These challenges impact students across all types of institutions—two-year, four-year and private colleges—especially lower-income, LGBTQ+ and single-parent students.
