Using home loan data from the 2016 Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), UnidosUS identified key indicators that show how Latinos fare in the mortgage market.
For some indicators, we also include 2010 and 2015 HMDA data. Taken together, this data reveals trends that support or hinder Latinos’ access to homeownership.
