UnidosUS to Host Forum on What the Tax Law Means for Latinos in Florida

ORLANDO, FLA.—Please join UnidosUS (formerly NCLR) on Monday, May 14, for a forum on the impact that the new federal tax law and budget cuts will have on Central Florida’s Latino community, including recently arrived evacuees from Puerto Rico. UnidosUS policy experts will also discuss how proposed changes to federal housing and food assistance programs could exacerbate Florida’s affordable housing crisis and undercut working Latino families in the state, particularly those displaced by Hurricanes Irma and Maria.

Interested media should RSVP to Gabriela Montell at [email protected] or (202) 776-1768.
