UnidosUS Donor Privacy Policy
Our commitment to you
UnidosUS deeply values the contributions that our donors make to sustain our mission. To protect the privacy of our donors, we maintain the following policies. UnidosUS collects donor information and keeps a record of each donor’s giving history. This information is kept on file for IRS purposes and is also used by UnidosUS’s Resource Development department to make more accurate budget projections.
In addition, we may collect your name, email address, and other contact information if you register for an event. We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, and payment information when you make a contribution, either on our website, over the phone, or by mail.
We will not sell, trade, or share your personal information. We will not send you mailings on behalf of other organizations. We will only share your personal information if you provide us with specific permission to do so.
When making a donation, donors may give UnidosUS permission to list them in its publications either by name or as an anonymous donor. Donors may request to not be solicited in the future. Donors may request to not receive mailings such as our newsletters.
UnidosUS reserves the right to change this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will note the date of the last update at the bottom of this policy.
For changes to this policy that may be materially less restrictive on our use or disclosure of your personally identifiable information, we will obtain your consent before implementing the change by sending a notice to your primary email address and home address specified in our records, as well as by placing a prominent notice on our website.
