Andrew Patricio
Andrew Patricio is the Principal of Digital Services at UnidosUS (formerly National Council of La Raza), where he leads the development of our digital services portfolio. Andrew is responsible for creating an organization-wide strategy that ensures that technology and data are effectively used to advance our mission. He champions innovation across teams via process and technology improvements to provide effective, pragmatic, and sustainable solutions to issues facing the U.S. Hispanic community using current and emergent tools, technologies, and research.
Prior to joining UnidosUS, Andrew led technology teams at numerous public sector agencies. He is the former Chief Data Officer/CIO of the District of Columbia Public Schools, where he led the implementation of the district’s first reporting data warehouse and the successful multi-million dollar replacement of the core Student Information System. He also ran a consulting firm advising multiple clients from the non-profit and commercial startup sectors on how to make effective use of their data.
He has spoken at numerous conferences and currently serves as a board member and technical advisor for Youthbuild PCS, a local charter school serving young people seeking to transform their lives by re-engaging their education in a non-traditional school environment. He received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois.
