Rafael Collazo

Rafael Collazo is the director of political campaigns for UnidosUS. He leverages the organization’s national network of leaders and Affiliate partners to advocate for federal and state legislation that opens the doors of opportunity for Hispanics and all Americans. Rafael also leads UnidosUS’s political portfolio, keeping national and local leaders engaged and accountable to the organization’s policy priorities.

A seasoned activist and political leader, Rafael is one of the foremost experts on Hispanic civic engagement and campaign organizing. He also hosts and produces “Bomba Live!,” a podcast that analyzes the latest Latino political and cultural headlines.

A Puerto Rican from Philadelphia, he is a proud family man, married to Michelle and father to Troy and Maxwell. In his spare time, he enjoys rooting for his Philadelphia sports teams and spending time with his amazing network of family and friends. Rafael earned his bachelor’s degree from Columbia University.
