
Susie Feliz
Susie Feliz is the senior advisor for legislative affairs and institutional strategy at UnidosUS. In this role, Susie leads the organization’s legislative affairs efforts and drives the execution of its strategy to protect, defend and advance the Latino community.
Susie previously served as assistant secretary for the Office of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs at the U.S. Department of Commerce. She brings more than 20 years of experience and leadership, developed through her work on Capitol Hill, in civil rights advocacy and as a Senate-confirmed appointee leading legislative affairs at the department. She also served as the vice president of legislative affairs at the National Urban League, where she led the policy team in advancing key economic empowerment in historically under resourced communities.
Feliz holds a Master of Public Administration degree from George Washington University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Denver. She lives in Arlington, Virginia, with her husband and their two sons.
