Bipartisan group of senators ask Biden to shield Ukrainians from deportation
Forty-two senators—40 Democrats and 2 Republicans—asked the Biden administration to include Ukrainians under Temporary Protected Status, which shields people from deportation when their home countries have undergone a natural disaster or humanitarian disaster, such as the current Russian invasion.
