How you can help the communities affected by the El Paso shooting
The shocking shooting that terrorized El Paso, Texas, on August 3 had Latinos as its target. Now this community is showing the world how they are coming together to help the victims and support their city, united.

- YWCA El Paso del Norte Region is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. - Project Bravo is committed to putting an end to poverty by mobilizing resources and promoting self-sufficiency as they strive to achieve a better tomorrow for their community. The organization jumped into action as soon as the attack happened, helping victims and their families. Project Bravo is helping families access hardship exemptions or victims service funds for those who may need to pay for funeral or hospital bills, rental assistance, and more. - Project Vida provides integrated care to areas with the most need in the El Paso area. They are now working primarily through the school district to provide mental health support for families directly affected by the shooting, but also for those who may experience trauma even if their family wasn’t directly impacted.
