We welcome seven new Affiliates to the UnidosUS Affiliate Network

UnidosUS Affiliates are key to the work we do. This month we are proud to  welcome seven new members to our national Affiliate Network of nearly 300 Latino-serving organizations: Acero Schools, Canal Alliance, Centro Cultural de Washington County, DC Language Immersion Project, Greater Lawrence Community Action Council, Inc., KIPP Southern California, and West Kendall Baptist Hospital. ¡Bienvenidos a la familia!

Through their tireless work, our seven new Affiliates have played a critical role in offering services and programs that support the well-being of Latino families. By bridging access to health and financial assistance programs; providing a quality education rooted in research-based models; and delivering urgent care services through compassionate care models—these nonprofits have had a tangible impact in improving economic, educational, and health-related outcomes for our community.

Sonia M. Pérez, UnidosUS’s Chief Operating Officer, expressed our excitement to be welcoming such strong organizations to our Affiliate Network: “Our long-standing partnership with Affiliates, coupled with their deep commitment to the mission and vision of UnidosUS, has been imperative in helping us open the doors of opportunity to our community.”

New UnidosUS Affiliates 2019
UnidosUS Affiliates know firsthand the concerns and challenges that affect children and families in communities across the country.

As they directly work with the Latino population across the country, our Affiliate Network knows firsthand the practical concerns and policy issues that affect their constituencies, bringing those issues to light to the national stage through their partnership with us, and engaging in implementing innovative solutions.

The UnidosUS Affiliate Network is made up of community-based partners who are driving meaningful change in their communities. “We are especially excited that the addition of these Latino champions strengthens UnidosUS’s Affiliate voice and influence to expand opportunities for our community across key states—like California and Florida—and on major issues for Latinos, like education,” noted Viviana Lopéz-Green, UnidosUS Senior Director of Affiliate Engagement.

Please help us welcome these remarkable organizations to our Affiliate Network, and follow them on social media:

¡Bienvenidos a la familia! We look forward to creating stronger communities and a stronger America together.
