Our 2018 Annual Conference is going on right now! Here’s how you can follow along.

The 2018 UnidosUS Annual Conference and 50th Anniversary Celebration begins this weekend!

Our Annual Conference is the biggest event of its kind, bringing together Latinos, leaders from across different sectors, and allies for three days of events and discussions about the U.S. Latino community. By uniting the like-minded at this turning point in our country, we’ll reflect on all the positive changes we’ve achieved together, and prepare to shape the future for Latinos in the United States.

With an agenda that includes influential people in fields like politics, the media, entertainment, and business, Conference-goers leave with a deeper sense of connection to the Hispanic community and the issues that impact our families.

Attendees also tend to walk away empowered to become an advocate for opportunity for Latinos and play a more active role in shaping our country’s future.

For those of you joining us in DC, we’ll see you soon! You’ll want to get the app in the Apple Store or on Google Play to mark the sessions you don’t want to miss, have the option to connect with other Conference-goers, and read descriptions of the more than 40 sessions we’re hosting. There will also be paper schedules onsite, and you can view the schedule online and print your own right now if you want to plan ahead.

If you won’t be joining us, check this space often for regular updates featuring stories from Conference, the major discussions taking place, interviews, videos, and more. We’ll also have surprise announcements and coverage of press events, so you’ll want to stay connected.

You can also follow along on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for live updates of what’s happening at Conference. We’ll be streaming some of the major sessions on Facebook Live and our President and CEO Janet Murguía will also be sharing her own perspective on Conference.

We’ll be posting about topics including:

• What Latino identity means in 2018

The UnidosUS Annual Conference also means it’s time for the National Latino Family Expo®. If you’re in the DC area, escape the heat this Saturday and Sunday with free entertainment, giveaways, services, and tons more, enough to keep the whole family busy all day.

Expo has five themed pavilions filled with people who want nothing more than to entertain and inform you. With backpacks filled with school supplies, music, dancing, health screenings, and so much more, Expo is a short summer getaway just off the Green or Yellow line to the Mt. Vernon Square stop.
