Congress:
House:
The House is in recess, returning the week of November 10.
Senate:
The Senate is in recess, returning the week of November 10.
White House:
On Monday, the president will meet with Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen to discuss the long-term outlook for the American economy and the global recovery.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, President Obama will attend meetings at the White House.
On Thursday, the president will award the Medal of Honor to Army First Lieutenant Alonzo H. Cushing for conspicuous gallantry. In the evening, as part of the “In Performance at the White House” series and the Joining Forces initiative, President Obama and the first lady will invite music legends, members of the U.S. military, military veterans, and their families to the White House for a celebration of the men and women who serve the United States. The program will be held on the South Lawn.
On Friday, President Obama will hold a Cabinet meeting.
On Sunday, the president will travel to Beijing, China.
