Latino Leaders Dismayed by President’s Immigration Delay, Will Push Community to Vote in November
Today, we joined the National Hispanic Leadership Agenda for a press conference to express our disappointment with President Obama’s recent decision to delay immigration action and to reveal the latest Congressional immigration scorecard. Our President and CEO, Janet Murguía, as well as our Vice President for Policy, Eric Rodriguez, represented NCLR. Latino voter engagement was also a major focus of the event as we gear up for the mid-term elections, which are just eight weeks away.
