The year 2001 began as a watershed year in the history of Hispanic Americans.
The Census 2000 figures confirmed that the nation’s 35 million Latinos are now the nation’s largest ethnic minority, while highlighting the phenomenal growth of Hispanic populations in cities and towns across the country, particularly in the Southeast and Midwest.
This year’s Impact Report represents the optimism amid the challenges, and everything we have been able to accomplish in partnership with our Affiliate Network, our funders, and partners.
For over 50 years, UnidosUS has been championing Latinos, and 2022 was no exception. We engaged Affiliates to serve the Latino community in a number of areas that led to positive impact and laid the groundwork for future progress.
