UnidosUS Avanzando Fellow Memorandums
The following memos were produced by the 2018-2019 cohort of the UnidosUS Avanzando Fellowship and presented to U.S. Representatives and staff on Capitol Hill. The Avanzando Fellowship is geared to second- and third-year college students who are passionate about making meaningful change in their campus community and beyond. This one-year program develops a cohort of civically, socially and educationally engaged college students to act as levers of change in their respective campuses and communities. Avanzando Fellows receive guidance, support, content knowledge, and strategic skills for responsible advocacy and activism around social, programmatic and policy issues.
