December Marks 75th Consecutive Month of Growth

The U.S. Department of Labor reported today that U.S. employers added 156,000 jobs in December 2016. The national unemployment rate increased to 4.7%, and the Latino unemployment rate increased to 5.9% in December. Health care services showed strong job growth in December.
