Latinos in the Sunshine State Building a Brighter Economic Future

Book

This report uses state-level data to measure the economic status of Latinos in Florida and provides state and federal policy recommendations. The analysis finds that Latinos in Florida are more likely than other Floridians to be in the workforce and are making great strides in entrepreneurship, postsecondary educational attainment, and children’s health coverage. Yet, Latinos are also more likely to lag behind significantly in wages, retirement savings, and wealth, and have lost ground on income and homeownership.
