Hispanics in the Workforce
This paper examines the available data on the status of Hispanics in the workforce.
Data on youthfulness, fertility rates, education, poverty, labor force participation rates, unemployment, earnings, and occupational distribution are examined and compared with comparable data on Whites and Blacks. Since jobs are a primary concern for Hispanics, the effectiveness of federal employment and training policies is discussed, and the types of services received by Hispanics are analyzed.
