Day #1:
Let’s Talk About Service Integration
Increasing impact often relies on strategic alignment of resources and forging connections across operations and programs. In this session, we will discuss how to be intentional about integrating services through more creative program design and more comprehensive fundraising.

Organizational Financial Management for Non-Finance Leaders and Staff
During this session, we will discuss how community-based organizations with limited finance experts can make strategic decisions supporting their financial health. We will review a resiliency and sustainability framework and focus on specific takeaways related to warning systems, board involvement, and scenario and contingency planning.

The Art & Science of Fundraising: Using Data and Storytelling to Make the Case for Support
During this session, participants will learn and discuss effective strategies for using data and storytelling throughout the fundraising process. From written proposals to meetings with funders to annual appeals to donors, organizations need to combine data and research with compelling narratives to convey the impact of their work. This session will provide practical tools and effective strategies that affiliates can utilize. Participants will engage in small group discussions and will have opportunities to ask questions, share their best practices, and learn from other Affiliates.

Advocating for Successful Implementation of the Digital Equity Act and Scaling Digital Skills Programs
Affiliates have established programs and found innovative solutions to expand digital skills. Now there is an opportunity to grow these programs by advocating for funding to implement state digital equity plans. Learn about the Digital Equity Act and how the Affiliate Network can ensure that their state’s digital equity efforts are reaching our community.

Effective Youth Engagement
Every hard-fought battle and every victory of the Latino Civil Rights movement has relied on the leadership of young people. This session will explore case studies of how Affiliates have built on this history and effectively engaged and organized Latino youth to effect change in their communities.
