Students Can’t Wait
The Students Can’t Wait resources were created to equip state and local advocates with information to advocate for equity and achievement in the implementation of the new Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). The resources include information about accountability under ESSA and facts sheets on the benefits, risks, and considerations associated with the following accountability indicators: advanced coursework, assessment-based measures of college readiness, chronic absenteeism, college-prep course sequence completion, English language proficiency, individual student growth, college and career readiness, school discipline and social-emotional indicators.
