Key Electoral State Poll Release: UnidosUS to Unveil State Polling of Latino Voters on Priority Issues, Key Traits in a Presidential Candidate and Party Support

Polls will reveal Latino voter opinions in key states of CA, TX, NV, FL and AZ

WASHINGTON, DC—On Monday, August 5, at 10:00 a.m. UnidosUS (formerly NCLR)—the nation’s largest Latino civil rights and advocacy organization—will unveil results from a poll of Latino voters focusing on the key electoral states of Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada and Texas. The press briefing will take place just prior to its hosting of four of the top Democratic presidential candidates at its Annual Conference and National Latino Family Expo® in San Diego.

The poll, conducted by Latino Decisions, takes the temperature on Latino sentiment toward parties and a closer look at what lies behind Latino issue priorities, including health, the economy, education and immigration. The poll also reveals top traits Latino voters are looking for in a presidential candidate, and how they view the parties in the run up to the 2020 election. Panelists at the press briefing will provide analysis and key insight on commonalities and differences among Latino priorities and sentiments in these key electoral states and how this bodes for candidates entering into the 2020 election.
