Will discuss Save Our Street Act and small business support

WASHINGTON, DC—Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), Rep. Ayanna Pressley (MA-07), UnidosUS President and CEO Janet Murguía, and MEDA (Mission Economic Development Agency) CEO Luis Granados will host a media call on Wednesday, May 13, to discuss the Saving Our Street Act and how Congress can ensure vital support is provided directly to small businesses. The CARES Act helped provide some assistance to businesses, but funding ran out before it reached those who needed it most. Small neighborhood businesses across the country from barbershops to bodegas are in dire need of immediate financial assistance.
